New York City Riding Trip

Riding under one of the historic bridges in Central Park designed by Calvert Vaux in 1857.

We take a one day trip into New York to ride in Central Park. We take one of these trips during each two week session and it is limited to a small number of campers.

The trip is under the personal supervision of Arno Mares, the director who used to live in New York and kept a horse at at the Claremont stable near Central Park. Tourists visiting Central Park are delighted and surprised to see our riders on the bridle path.  Our campers graciously allow their requests for a “selfie” photo op.

We have lunch at Tavern on the Green, an elegant restaurant located next to the bridle path in Central Park. Be sure to leave room for dessert! After lunch, we take a horse drawn carriage to the Plaza Hotel  to visit the  Eloise Boutique.  Then  we step into our  limousine and visit the FAO Toy Store.. Then our car whisks us off to “Manhattan Saddlery” for some light shopping. This trip is guaranteed to make you feel like a princess for the day.

There is an additional fee of $995.00 for this trip.
